  • Susan Shields became the Director of the School of Dance again in June 2024. She is the recipient of the 2006 Choo-San Goh Award for Choreography, has created dances for numerous professional companies and universities.

  • Asma’s art practice intertwines her passion for philanthropy where she often donates proceeds from her artwork sales to benefit charities such as the Malala Fund, STEM For Her, Helping Hand, and the American Red Cross as a means for improving women’s and girls’ education...

  • Eamonn is a multidisciplinary award-winning designer with a professional concentration on user experience and interface visual design. Eamonn has worked throughout his career in a variety of roles as a designer, art director, and creative director for national and international brands including the U.S. Army, Gannett, USA Today, The Detroit Free Press, WUSA9, PayPal, and Capital One.

  • Professor Wrbican has an MFA in Photography from the Rhode Island School of Design and a BA in Poetry from the University of Pittsburgh. Her studio is located in the Monroe Street Market Arts Walk in Washington, D.C.

  • Gail Scott White is a new media scenographer and animator who collaboratively makes “Live Movies,” a hybrid art form that interactively synthesizes animation and cinematic art, and theatrical and musical elements with built environments and live performance.

  • Joseph Walsh has three decades of experience in preparing, presenting and conducting opera and musical theater in Virginia, across the U.S. and internationally. He is a conductor admired for his ability to combine dramatic flair and theatrical excitement with sensitivity, detail and a keen sense of dramatic pacing.

  • Julie Thompson, Executive Director of the Center for the Arts at George Mason University, joined the university more than fifteen years ago after a career as a professional stage manager in regional theater and opera, including long-term residencies at Minnesota Opera, Washington Opera at the Kennedy Center, Wolf Trap Opera, and Center Stage in Baltimore.
