Dr. Jeah Jung is a Professor in the Department of Health Administration and Policy. Jung’s research analyzes health policy issues using approaches to infer causal relations from observational data.

Farrokh Alemi, professor of Health Administration and Policy, is working on a new study to identify a connection between COVID-19 and suicide among essential workers. The study aims to offer evidence-based policy recommendations for improving mental health and preventing suicide in essential workers.
Mary Cunningham is the associate director of marketing and communications for the College. She loves supporting the College and its faculty by promoting faculty research and spotlighting faculty, student, and alumni achievements in various online channels. Growing up in Fairfax, Mary is thrilled to be a part of the wonderful Mason community that she has seen thrive over the years.

On Thursday, September 16, the student alumni organization Rising Healthcare Leaders at Mason (RHLM) hosted its first in-person networking event since March 2020. Both the graduate student leadership team and undergraduate students in the Department of Health Administration and Policy (HAP) worked together to make the event a successful networking opportunity for attendees.
Dr. Lee Black is an assistant professor in the Department of Health Administration, College of Public Health. His research interests are the intersection of law and ethics in health care, and especially the impact of legal regulation of abortion on the ethical responsibilities of healthcare providers.
Dr. Jinshan Tang is a professor of Health Informatics in the Department of Health Administration and Policy. Before joining George Mason University, Dr. Tang was a full professor in the College of Computing at Michigan Technological University and a Founding Director of the Joint Center for Biocomputing and Digital Health.
