    Sleeping Beauty invites viewers to consider the interconnectedness of humanity and nature. The exhibition features work by 7 School of Art & Design students and recent alumni who use biological materials, processes, and imagery as departure points to explore themes of transformation and the healing potential of personal communion with the natural world.

    On Saturday, October 1, 2022 Mason Exhibitions, with the support of Mason Facilities, the Patriot Green Fund (PGF), the Office of Sustainability, and community volunteers, planted 100 native hardwood tree saplings on the Fairfax Campus. This event was part of Atlantika Collective’s  current exhibition  at Mason Exhibitions Arlington. The tree planting event on Saturday was part of a socially engaged artwork,  200 Trees: A Performance Action, presented by visiting artist, Katie Kehoe.

    On October 1, Artist Katie Kehoe and a group of volunteers planted 100 native trees on parts of the Fairfax Campus.

    Mason Exhibitions is honored to present Abdulrahman Naanseh: Pressure, Movement, Effect, a solo exhibition of the artist’s recent Arabic calligraphy on paper and canvas, on view June 17 through August 6, 2022. The opening reception for Pressure, Movement, Effect will kick off with the Arlington Collective Art Walk the evening of June 17, featuring self-guided art experiences open to the public that connects seven local galleries.
