FAIRFAX, VA (April 19, 2023) George Mason University President Gregory Washington has named Marvin Lewis as the Patriots’ Assistant Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics. Lewis, who signed a five-year contract, will become Mason’s sixth athletics director when he begins on July 1.

George Mason University assistant vice president and director of athletics Bradford Edwards will leave Mason in October to become CEO of NFL Alumni, the National Football League announced on September 13. Edwards will remain at Mason through October 12.
