Mason Arts at Home is an online platform and “digital venue” featuring curated arts experiences, including livestreamed concerts, releases of previously recorded content, behind-the-scenes talks with artists, and more.

Starting this month, a captivating new art exhibition – Bennie Herron: Zero and One (9/6 – 11/6) – is showcased at the top of the Hylton’s grand staircase in the Buchanan Partners Art Gallery.

If you are a Veteran, Servicemember, military family member, or military caregiver, and you haven’t participated in a free Veterans and the Arts Initiative workshop to learn guitar or make art — or would like to join us again for a new semester, there are plenty of opportunities to participate this fall!

The American Festival Pops Orchestra (AFPO) performance at the Hylton Center on May 14th marks the end of Founding Maestro Anthony Maiello’s amazing run as its Music Director/Conductor after twelve glorious years on the podium, making music of the highest caliber and spreading his own deep love of this art form with players, singers, composers, arrangers, and, perhaps most vividly, with audiences.

On March 6, Friends of the Hylton Center’s Copper Circle enjoyed a wonderful appreciation dinner after the Velocity Irish Dance performance.

On June 15, the Virginia Women Veterans Summit will gather in Richmond, bringing together hundreds of Veterans, employers, community leaders, and government agencies to raise awareness about the services and benefits offered for women Veterans.
