The George Mason University School of Nursing BSN remains a top-rated program according to US News & World Reports.
According to the latest rankings from US News & World Reports, the School of Nursing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) ranks among the top programs in Virginia and across the nation. Across public institutions, the BSN places within the top 100 (#86) and is the top 4 program in Virginia.
“Virginia and nationally, George Mason University undergraduate programs produce nursing excellence. The US News & World Reports’ recognition of the BSN affirms our standing as a leading institution at the forefront of nursing education,” said Margaret Rodan, ScD, MSN, MPH, acting director of the School of Nursing.
The School of Nursing offers multiple pathways to complete the BSN for students coming from diverse backgrounds. As part of the College of Public Health, the program boasts an interdisciplinary, comprehensive curriculum delivered by leading clinical and instructional faculty. Students gain hands-on knowledge in the interactive Center for Immersive Technologies and Simulation to gain practical experience with patient care. Graduates enter the field with interprofessional clinical and community health knowledge, ready to address current and emerging health care challenges.
U.S. News and World Report previously ranked the Doctor of Nursing practice program #1 among public institutions and the Master of Science in Nursing #4 among public institutions.
