BSN program moves up to 93 nationally and 70 among public universities.

The College of Health and Human Services is pleased to announce that the Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) program is ranked within the top 100 programs, as recognized in the most recent U.S. News & World Report rankings of undergraduate programs.

At #93, the BSN program moved up three spots nationally and ranks at #70 among public institutions.

“Nurses play an increasingly important role in public and population health and the success of our nursing programs is a testament to the interdisciplinary nature of the experience we provide all our students – from virtual and augmented reality to working directly with underrepresented populations. Our communities need strong nurse leaders now more than ever,” said Cheryl Oetjen, interim Director of the School of Nursing.

For the 2022-23 school year, the College welcomed BSN students to its first direct admit cohort of freshmen. Learn more here.

Earlier this year, U.S. News ranked Mason’s Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at #37 and the Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) program at #52, nationally in their respective fields. Among public institutions, Mason’s MSN program ranks #23 and the DNP ranks #38.
