Bachelor’s/Accelerated Master’s program

After taking the Survey of Accounting 203 course with Muhammad Awais (BS Accounting ‘13, MS Accounting ‘14), an adjunct instructor at the Costello College of Business, Khaled Alkurd knew everything he needed to know to switch his area of study from marketing to accounting.

For many students, the transition from undergraduate to graduate studies can feel like a long road. But for those in George Mason University’s Bachelor’s–Accelerated Master’s (BAM) program, it’s a strategic leap forward. Maha Almoshaddak, a current student in the BAM Finance track, shares her transformative experience and why this fast-paced, high-reward program was the perfect fit for her career goals.

Recent graduate in electrical and computer engineering Upneet Singh is dedicated to bringing practical engineering experiences to students in elementary and high school. As a volunteer with VEX Robotics, Singh recently demonstrated research from George Mason’s Electrical and Computer Engineering Department to students attending a statewide robotics competition. 

Schar School senior public administration major and master’s degree candidate Zayd Hamid has taken advantage of the Schar School’s location and curriculum to pursue a career in higher education.
