  • July 3, 2023

Three motivated Honors College students, Lina Hussein, Rakibul Alam Anik, and Molly Izer, presented their ambitious research projects to The George Mason Board of Trustees. Lina explored the impact of Affordable Care Act provisions on safety in hospitals serving vulnerable populations, Rakibul focused on sustainable agriculture to address soil salinity in Bangladesh, and Molly studied the function and benefits of congressional caucuses. These students showcased their research skills learned in Honors 110 and received guidance from professors during their studies. Their presentations demonstrated the potential of Honors College students to ask good questions, evaluate evidence, and approach research with openness.
