Mason Chooses Kindness

On November 3, the Costello College of Business at George Mason University marked its second-year naming anniversary in the most meaningful way—by giving back. The Annual Day of Service honored this milestone as a proud tradition, reaffirming Costello’s commitment to creating positive change and strengthening the campus community through acts of service.

After attending university-wide Mason Chooses Kindness events at George Mason University, colleagues in the School of Business saw an opportunity to apply the same principles within their unit. This “goodwill team” highlights and encourages acts of kindness and well-being across the school.

To celebrate National Random Acts of Kindness Day on Thursday, Feb. 17, the Mason Chooses Kindness committee has arranged exciting events for the Mason community.

Mason will celebrate World Kindness Day the week of Nov. 8 with events to promote kindness and caring across all campuses, as part of the Mason Chooses Kindness (MCK) initiative.
