After a year learning Russian in the Kyrgyzstan Republic, Anusha Chaluvadi begins her career at George Mason: Honors College, University Scholar, and a major in the Schar School’s International Security and Law undergraduate four-year degree program.

Mason’s Honors College and Early Identification Program (EIP) promote access to inclusive excellence. EIP serves first-gen high school students and offers programming such as the College Application Coaches program. EIP alumni entering the Honors College are awarded full tuition scholarships. The partnership strengthens EIP’s mission of educating the whole student and advances the Honors College’s commitment to increasing access to transformative academic, civic, and professional experiences.

During her time at Mason, University Scholar Aloana Hall had internships at the DC Volunteer Lawyers Project and the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia.

Sophia Ramirez participated in Mason’s Early Identification Program. Now she is a University Scholar in the Honors College, majoring in history.

Incoming University Scholar Dayana Cespedes-Mendoza has been familiar with Mason for more than five years through her participation in Mason’s Early Identification Program (EIP) for first-generation college-bound students, which she joined as an eighth grader.
