Bachelor of Science in Health Administration
Lead health care into the future by preparing for a management role in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, senior housing facilities, and more. The B.S. in Health Administration offers two concentrations and the opportunity to accelerate your studies through the Master of Health Administration (MHA) pathway. This program is designed to grow your strategic, business, analytical, and decision-making skills, equipping you to become an in-demand administrator who can help improve patient care.

The Health Systems Management concentration is AUPHA-certified, recognizing excellence in undergraduate health administration education.

Internship Experience
Through the required Health Administration Internship (HAP 498), students gain hands-on experience in a health care organization, applying classroom knowledge while building skills and professional connections.

Accelerated Master’s Pathway (BAM Program)
Students in the BS in Health Administration may apply to Mason’s Bachelor’s–Accelerated Master’s (BAM) program, an opportunity to earn both the undergraduate degree and the Master of Health Administration (MHA) in a streamlined format. The BAM pathway allows students to take up to 12 graduate credits while completing their bachelor’s degree, saving time and reducing tuition costs on the way to an advanced credential.

AUPHA Recognition
The Health Systems Management concentration in the BS in Health Administration is certified by the Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA), a distinction that recognizes programs for meeting rigorous academic and professional standards.
AUPHA offers awards, scholarships, and honor societies that provide additional opportunities for student recognition, including:

- Upsilon Phi Delta Honor Society
