Biography

Yang Long is a PhD candidate in Statistics at George Mason University, advised by Assistant Professor David Kepplinger and Professor Lily Wang. His research focuses on statistical methods for trustworthy AI, with an emphasis on robustness and uncertainty quantification. In particular, Yang develop robust and scalable estimation and inference frameworks for complex-structured imaging data and use generative AI to improve functional GWAS under realistic data imperfections.
