Rahel Katz

Rahel Katz, grew up in Silver Spring Maryland and has been teaching Israeli dance for seven years. In high school she joined the Yesodot Israeli Dance Troupe which performs at various festivals and events along the Northeastern seaboard. Rahel received her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Maryland. While attending she started regular Israeli dance sessions and spearheaded the revival of Avirah, the university’s only Israeli dance troupe.  Avirah performs at many university and community events including the Israeli Dance Festival DC. Since graduating Rahel has joined Mavrik, a new and upcoming Israeli dance group for young adults in the DC area.
