Biography
Holly Wahl has a diverse professional background, serving in various private, nonprofit, and public management capacities. As a city manager, she oversees the day-to-day operations of a full-service coastal community. Before working in public management, she provided oversight of the operations of a general contracting firm and a 24/7 homeless shelter and homeless support center.
Wahl holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from the Johns Hopkins University, an MBA from the University of Maryland, and executive certificates in public administration and public policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and the University of Maryland School of Public Policy.
In addition, she is currently in the dissertation phase of her doctorate in public administration and public policy at The George Washington University, where her research primarily focuses on how city and town managers can leverage complexity to engage citizens and improve governmental performance.
Wahl is a member of the International City Managers Association and an inductee of the Pi Alpha Alpha Global Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration George Washington University Chapter.
