George Mason University Arts Management Program Welcomes Grammy Winner and Renowned Arts Advocate as Adjunct Faculty for Fall 2025

George Mason University’s Arts Management Program is proud to announce the addition of two distinguished professionals to its adjunct faculty for Fall 2025, offering students direct access to global arts leadership and real-world expertise.


 

Dr. Quanice G. Floyd, a nationally recognized arts educator, social entrepreneur, and advocate for equity in the arts, will teach AMGT 730: Arts Entrepreneurship. As Executive Director of the National Guild for Community Arts Education, Dr. Floyd leads transformative initiatives focused on liberation and social justice in the arts and culture sector.

 

 

 

 

 


 

Eric Oberstein, a two-time GRAMMY and two-time Latin GRAMMY-winning producer, curator, educator, and arts administrator, joins the program to teach AMGT 609: Performing Arts Management. As founder of Eric Oberstein Productions, an NYC-based artist management and producing company, Oberstein brings extensive experience in curating innovative programming and advising cultural organizations on strategy and impact.

 

 

 

 


These new faculty members enhance Mason’s commitment to providing students with cutting-edge arts management education, blending academic theory with practical, real-time application from leaders actively shaping the field.
