Warrenton Presbyterian Church is seeking candidates for its choral scholar positions. These roles are open to undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a degree in vocal music.
Choral scholars will be selected based on a combination of an interview with the music director, Jeff Anderson, an audition, relevant musical experience, and a recommendation from their department chair. Scholars are expected to attend all sanctuary and community choir rehearsals, held every Thursday evening from 7-9 PM. Additionally, they are required to sing with the sanctuary choir during Sunday morning services and perform for special services throughout the year.
The compensation for choral scholars is $50 per call, which includes both rehearsals and performances, amounting to approximately $400 per month.
