College announces tenure-line faculty promotions

The College of Public Health is dedicated to rewarding the achievements of faculty in their research, teaching, service, leadership, and student success. We are proud to announce the tenure and promotion of the following exemplary faculty members: 

Associate Professor Granted Tenure and Promoted to the Rank of Full Professor

Denise Hines, Department of Social Work 

Tenured Associate Professor Promoted to the Rank of Full Professor

Anna Pollack, Department of Global and Community Health 

“Our faculty members set the bar for excellence in research, teaching, and preparing future generations of public health professionals. We are proud of their accomplishments and excited for them to represent the College of Public Health at George Mason University for many years to come,” said Cathy Tompkins, associate dean for faculty affairs. 

Their promotions went into effect June 10, 2024.
