There’s a chill in the air and spirits are starting to grow merrier, which means its almost time to usher in the holidays at the Hylton Center. Kicking things off is audience favorite, the exuberant Canadian Brass in A Canadian Brass Christmas (11/26). This good-humored brass quintet performs a varied repertoire featuring original arrangements and signature takes on classical standards, pop favorites, and traditional holiday tunes.
If soulful song sprinkled with uplifting Christmas music is more your style, join us for The Legendary Ingramettes (12/3), who are also a Hylton Center Artist-in-Residence this season. Next up, it’s a Hylton Center classic—American Festival Pops Orchestra: Holiday Pops: Songs of the Season (12/8). Now in his second season, Artistic Director and Conductor Peter Wilson welcomes old and new friends to the stage for a festive program of musical favorites.
Lastly, don’t miss the angelic voices of the world-renowned Vienna Boys Choir (12/10). With an astounding 600-year history, this beloved ensemble is praised for its heavenly voices, harmonic purity, and endearing charm. Made up of boy sopranos and altos from ages eight to 14 and from 31 countries, the Vienna Boys Choir is one of the best international choral ensembles of its kind.
