Faculty and staff volunteers are needed to participate in the Mason Dream Catchers program. Dreamcatchers is a university-wide partnership with the Fairfax County Public Schools and Prince William County Public School divisions that provide hope for capable at-risk youth enrolled in alternative, non-traditional education programs. This unique partnership identifies and supports these students in achieving their dreams to attend and graduate from college. Volunteers will be asked to participate once a month in social and academic functions. Details about the program, including the events and mentor application, are found HERE. To participate, complete the Mason Dream Catchers Mentor application and submit by close of business on Friday, Sept. 29. The first event will be held Friday, Oct. 13.
