The College of Public Health is pleased to announce that the Master of Public Health program is ranked within the top 100 of its discipline, as recognized in the most recent U.S. News & World Report rankings of graduate programs. The program ranks at #76.

“The College’s MPH program is interprofessional and prepares our students for the newly emerging challenges facing public health as the needs of populations change,” said Carolyn Drews-Botsch, PhD, chair of the Department of Global and Community Health. “With seven concentrations including Food Security and Nutrition and Health Equity and Social Justice, we cultivate practitioners and leaders trained in applying public health competencies that will pioneer the advancement of the future of public health.”

Among public institutions, Mason’s MPH program ranks #50. Mason is only university in Virginia to offer Council on Education for Public Health-accredited degrees at the undergraduate, master, and doctoral levels.

In fall 2023, Mason will offer a fully online Master of Public Health program with a concentration in Public Health Practice.
