Chopin. The Space Concert needs Volunteers
Hosted by the Alliance for Innovation - Polish/U.S. Foundation, Chopin. The Space Concert is a fundraiser to help civilian and soldier survivors of the war in Ukraine with PTSD and amputations; training doctors in Poland and Ukraine. It will feature live music (Chopin) by Polish string quartet played to a film about space exploration; the Commander for the space shuttle Endeavour will share his experience in space and why he chose to play Chopin on the shuttle
Time and Location:
Saturday, March 18, 2023, volunteers needed 5pm-10:30pm for registration, guest greeters, parking greeters, set up, clean up. Located at the National Air & Space Museum, Udvar Center, 14390 Air and Space Museum Parkway, Chantilly, VA
Volunteer Tasks:
10-12 volunteers needed 5pm-10pm for registration, guest greeters, parking greeters, set up, clean up; must be at least 17 yo. Volunteers will also enjoy the film and music AND will receive a DVD of the film
