On September 18, the Hylton Center hosted its Copper Circle Dinner, an annual benefit for individuals and businesses whose generous philanthropic impact has made the Hylton Center the creative commons for the region. This celebration of the Copper Circle of the Friends of the Hylton Center included a lively cocktail hour followed by an elegant dinner in the Jacquemin Family Foundation Rehearsal Hall. At this private event, Copper Circle members reveled in their shared love for the Hylton while also meeting and reconnecting with fellow attendees. This year, George Mason University President Gregory Washington joined in the fun and spoke with members before the Hylton Presents performance An Evening with Norm Lewis. The support of this group of arts enthusiasts ensures the Hylton Presents, Hylton Family Series, Matinee Idylls, and the American Roots Series remain vibrant and affordable both today and for future generations.
