Najla Mangoush is one of three African women to receive the Courage Award

Mason PhD student Najla Mangoush a year ago accepted the role of foreign minister in the U.N.-backed transitional government of Libya, a country deeply divided by a decade of civil war. She is one of  12 women honored by the U.S. State Department with its 2022 International Women of Courage Awards. Learn more from Voice of America.
