The Ukulele Workshop Series and the Songwriting Series for Military Kids will open for registration soon, so be sure to check our website for updates! In addition to these popular workshops, the Veterans and the Arts Initiative will help kick off the Hylton Center 2021/2022 season with a free Hylton on the Hill concert featuring The U.S. Army Band Downrange on September 18 in a family-friendly afternoon of rock, pop, country, R&B, and inspirational signature patriotic arrangements.
Planning is also underway for a special Veterans Day concert on November 14 featuring The War and Treaty! Named Americana Music Awards 2019 Emerging Act of the year, this husband-and-wife duo of Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Blount will dazzle in their Merchant Hall debut performing songs from their two acclaimed albums, Healing Tide and Hearts Town.
