George Mason University’s cybersecurity engineering masters has been ranked among the top 50 schools for cybersecurity master’s degrees in the United States by Cyber Degrees EDU.
At number 18, the program within the Volgenau School of Engineering topped those offered by Stevens Institute of Technology, Purdue University, and the Rochester Institute of Technology.
“We have traditionally focused on preparing students to succeed in the workforce, by working closely with local industry partners in shaping our degree programs to meet the ever-changing needs of the IT industry. As a result, companies in the greater DC area and beyond have always been eager to have our graduates join their ranks,” says Massimiliano Albanese, associate professor in the Department of Information Sciences and Technology.
Cybersecurity engineering was established as a department in February 2020. To learn more about cybersecurity engineering at Mason, click here.
