In an event open to all faculty, Faculty Senate Chair Shannon Davis will moderate a discussion on University Policy 4002, Copyright in University Works, and its definition of “directed” and “traditional” works and applicability to instruction material in the online space. Panelists include Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Economic Impact Deb Crawford; University General Counsel Brian Walther; and Associate Provost for Academic Administration Renate Guilford. The Town Hall will be from 2- 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, via WebEx. The town hall will provide faculty the opportunity to ask questions and get clarifications on the policy.
