The seventh annual Volgenau School of Engineering (VSE) Undergraduate Research Celebration will be held on Tuesday, April 21, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Dewberry Hall on the Fairfax Campus.
Cash prizes of $1,000 will be awarded for the most outstanding projects. Judging will be done by representatives from local companies. There will also be a special “People’s Choice Award” voted on by all attendees, also with a cash prize of $1,000.
Presenters of winning projects will be invited to participate in the university’s 2020 Celebration of Student Scholarship on May 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Fenwick Library, and their work will be displayed in the engineering building.
Only VSE students can present at the celebration, but the event is open to the entire university community.
