Additional Information and Points of Contacts: Clinicals, Practicums, and Internships
- Clinical and Practicum Coordinators from the College have been or will soon be in touch with their students to discuss the next steps in their placements. Students are encouraged to speak with their coordinators regarding any questions or concerns related to fulfilling practicum or clinical requirements and specific certification requirements.
- For students who have not yet met the requirements for clinical hours, alternative arrangements can be made for those whose placements are no longer available or if they do not wish to remain in their current placement. Please speak with your coordinator (see points of contact below).
- Students who live on campus and currently serve in a practicum or clinical are eligible to request an exemption to stay on campus. Please access the Mason Housing Portal to file an exemption. Supporting documentation for exemptions must include the name of the supervisor and contact information for verification. Please see the list below for points of contact.
- Students who have met their clinical requirements and would like to further serve the community are encouraged to volunteer through their local Medical Reserve Corps (MRC). The Corps does not require a healthcare background to volunteer. Information about the MRC units: Virginia Department of Health – Medical Reserve Corps.
