Effective April 9, Adobe discontinued Adobe Shockwave player. Commonwealth of Virginia security standards require that the software plugin be removed from all Mason-owned computers by Monday, July 8.
Information Technology Services (ITS) will remove Shockwave from all managed computers to meet the July deadline. For instructions on how to remove Shockwave from unmanaged computers by the July deadline, visit the Adobe website.
This change does not affect classroom or lab computers.
