As a reminder, if an employee in your department works remotely—even for a short period of time—they should fill out a Flexible Work Agreement.
An employee is considered a remote worker if:
- They spend most or all of their time working outside the traditional workplace
- Visits to campus are infrequent
- The location is sufficiently far away that daily commuting is not possible
- The position is designed specifically for off-site work
This agreement should be renewed every year that the employee works remotely.
