Vehicle and pedestrian access along Rivanna River Lane will be restricted from Monday, May 20, through August 2020 to accommodate the Core Campus infrastructure project. The road from Patriot Circle toward The Hub and Southside will be one-way with one lane blocked for construction.
Only service and delivery vehicles, vehicles with disabled placards, and construction vehicles may use the road. Traffic will exit on the service road next to Exploratory Hall onto Sandy Creek Way.
Lot T will be closed May 20 to August 18, and short-term parking spaces behind The Hub will be converted into service repair spaces. There will still be limited access to the Desktop Support Lot on Buffalo Creek Court, which has several short-term parking spaces. Otherwise, those needing short-term parking and load/unload access should use the Shenandoah Parking Deck visitor area, where there is 30-minute free parking.
Access to Facilities’ Parking and Warehouse will be from Rockfish Creek Lane in front of the Krasnow Building, off Shenandoah River Lane. The entrance to Facilities Management from Rivanna River Lane off Patriot Circle will be closed.
