Only at Mason: Former CIA director George Tenet (1997-2004) made a rare public appearance earlier this month when he took the stage at George Mason University’s Founders Hall in Arlington for an off-the-record, 90-minute conversation with Mike Morell. Morell, a former acting and deputy director of the CIA and now a senior fellow at the Schar School of Policy and Government’s Michael V. Hayden Center for Intelligence, Policy, and International Security, and Tenet, his former director, discussed critical issues facing the intelligence community for an audience of about 150 Mason students, faculty, and staff.
