This Earth Day, take a moment to consider what you recycle during your work day. Are you sorting items correctly? Are you aware of all the different items you can recycle?
Mason's recycling bins are labeled for white paper, mixed paper, glass/cans/plastic, or single stream (which accept all types of recyclables).
Did you know? The university generates income from white paper recycling. Only clean, white printer/copier paper should be placed into bins marked "White Paper Only." If any non-white paper is mixed into these bins, the entire container is downgraded. The same rule applies for bags of shredded paper. Any non-white paper should be placed in the bins marked for "Mixed Paper" or single stream.
