As part of an event-packed celebration of Women’s History Month and LGBTQ Pride Week at George Mason University, Del. Danica Roem (D-Prince William), Virginia’s first openly transgender lawmaker, spoke at the Verizon Theater on the SciTech Campus.
Roem spoke about her journey to become a politician after a career as a journalist, her support of the Dreamers, and how she equally supports all her constituents.
