Celebrate American Heart Month with Free CPR/AED Training

Mason's Safety, Emergency, and Enterprise Risk Management department (SEERM) will observe American Heart Month this February by offering free CPR and Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) training to the university community.

Completion of this course will certify the attendee in CPR and AED operation for two years through the American Heart Association (AHA).*

Training Dates:

  • February 5, 9 a.m. to noon, Fairfax Campus
  • February 8, 9 a.m. to noon, SciTech Campus
  • February 14, 1 to 4 p.m., Arlington Campus
  • February 16, 9 a.m. to noon, Fairfax Campus
  • February 20, 1 to 4 p.m., Fairfax Campus
  • February 28, 1 to 4 p.m., Fairfax Campus

*Participants will receive an electronic ID card from the AHA following successful completion of the course. While SEERM intends to offer this course annually in February in observance of American Heart Month, attendance is on a first-come, first-serve basis and we cannot guarantee you will be able to obtain recertification through our department.
