During the weekend of October 4-6, Mason will transition to the Office 365 Calendar. Your Corporate Time data will be copied into your Office 365 calendar throughout the weekend. The Corporate Time system will be shut down effective 5:00 PM on October 4th.
Get ready:
·View the Office 365 Training & Workshops page, http://tsd.gmu.edu/services/office365/training/?sec=1, for Quick Guides (web, PC and Mac versions available), a Corporate Time Crosswalk, and other instructions for calendar set-up and use
oDefine your work hours – show when you are in and out of the office
oSee how to create meetings and appointments – learn to create and maintain calendar entries
oShare your calendar – determine who else can see your calendar (sharing)
oSet your delegation rules – identify who can maintain your calendar. Setting your delegation rules PRIOR to the transition, allows you to compare them to your current Corporate Time designate rules.
·Sign-up for a Calendar Training Workshop on the IT Training site, http://ittraining.gmu.edu
·Familiarize yourself with the Office 365 calendar
The Transition Weekend:
·Print your Corporate Time calendar for the week of 10/7 before leaving work on 10/4
·Activate your Office 365 Calendar on your mobile device. See Mason's Mobile Device site, http://tsd.gmu.edu/depts/TSS/ADT/mobile/?sec=0, for instructions
·Limit your use of the Office 365 Calendar during the transition weekend. Your Corporate Time entries may be copied at different times; your user experience may not be consistent.
For more information on the transition including what data will be copied to the Office 365 Calendar, see the Calendar Migration page, http://tsd.gmu.edu/services/office365/calendar/.
