New Virtual Private Network (VPN) Service Launched

July 16, 2014

The ITU has launched a new Virtual Private Network (VPN) service for Mason. The new VPN service virtually connects a remote user, working wirelessly or from an off campus location, to a local campus network. For faculty and staff, the VPN will enable them to access office systems and print to office printers. For students, the VPN will provide virtual university presence for accessing site-restricted services or dedicated educational resources.

Download/install the VPN client (Cisco Anyconnect) at vpn.gmu.edu. If you have an MPLS VPN/private internetwork service, talk to your IT staff.
