Michael V. Hayden, former head of both the CIA and the National Security Agency, will discuss his career in U.S. intelligence during a panel presentation at 6 p.m. Monday, May 2, at George Mason University’s Founders Hall Auditorium in Arlington.
Hayden, a Distinguished Visiting Professor at Mason’s School of Policy, Government and International Affairs, will be joined on stage by Mason professor Jeremy Mayer and Georgetown Law professor Laura Donohue in a conversation about the often-controversial contents of Hayden’s new book, “Playing to the Edge: American Intelligence in the Age of Terror.” The discussion will be moderated by SPGIA dean Mark Rozell.
A question-and-answer session with the audience will follow the discussion.
The event is sponsored by the school, its alumni chapter and Mason’s Center for Security Policy Studies.
