Hillary Clinton spends day before Super Tuesday at Mason

It seems the road to the White House goes through George Mason University this campaign season.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s rally on Monday afternoon for 1,500 supporters at George Mason’s Hub Ballroom on the university’s Fairfax Campus was the latest visit by a 2016 presidential hopeful. It was Clinton’s second campaign stop at Mason, her first being a dinner held at EagleBank Arena in June.

Clinton’s stop this week was in anticipation of Virginia’s primary voting on Super Tuesday, March 1.

Last week, GOP candidate John Kasich held a town hall in the same Hub Ballroom. Previous candidates who have held events at Mason include Bernie Sanders, Jim Webb and Jim Gilmore.
