Patriot Pass Passwords Will Begin to Expire in September

The best way to protect your computing identity, files, and Mason’s resources is by using a strong password and changing it at regular intervals. Per university policy, all users must change their password at least every 180 days to continue to access Mason’s information technology resources.

During September, passwords for all Patriot Pass accounts will begin to expire. ITS will send email messages informing you of when your password will need to be reset. You can change your password at that point, or change it sooner by going to password.gmu.edu and selecting option 2.
